Table Runner Project in Asian Fabrics...

On to the next project which is another table runner, this time out of Asian fabrics from Keepsake Quilting. This was pieced from fabrics from the Oriental Scrapbag I bought from them recently. All their Oriental fabrics are wonderful. I like the Japanese themed fabrics and have purchased many a medley from KQ now. This was a run through of a project to see if my own combinations are going to work out. I designed this very simply and tonight it is pinned for FMQ. I just love the look and feel of these fabrics. All this color on a snowy day cannot be beat. The backing fabric is an umbrella print in muted orange tones with multi-colored sun umbrellas on it. Some years ago I had bought a remnant of this same fabric, and I was surprised to see it still on sale at Joann's when I went out to get backing last week. Right now JA's has a nice array of Asian prints in stock. That is really my favorite theme for the present.

Oh my goodness, I adore that umbrella fabric for the backing! I may have to look for that because the colors and print are divine. Definitely a bright spot for a snowy day! (We're supposed to get buried tonight.)
